Is there a government health insurance for every employee in the UK? How much do you pay per year? Is it deducted from your paycheck?
Can you get additional health insurance? Are vision and dental usually included as a benefit from your employer?

I have a friend of mine who lives in Florida. He had open heart surgery a few years ago. After the surgery was done, the Dr walked in the room and told my friend he really never needed the surgery to begin with. He is trying to find health insurance and he [...]
99% of the claims made in favor of the house health care bill are outright lies. It is amazing that people believe these things. Explain to me how if private insurance companies are forced to cover people with preexisting illnesses and not allowed to discriminate on a variety of factors, costs go down.

How can I find medical insurance for her in the USA?
She is not eligible for Medicare since she is not a US citizen, but she is a green card holder.
